Kratom remains understudied and underfunded, particularly in the United States. That being said, preliminary studies and anecdotal evidence indicate that the substance may prove useful for addressing low motivation, poor focus, and other issues associated with ADHD. As with any substance, however, it should not be used exclusively in the pursuit of relief from ADHD symptoms. The best approach to natural remedies for ADHD is well-rounded and will include lifestyle shifts in addition to substance intervention when warranted.
